Philosophy Profile Education is an important part of our life.I believe that learning should start at a youngage.I feel very strongly about the saying “Early learning starts here”, in an early childhoodsetting/classroom.Another true fact that I like to share is that “The children are our futureleaders”.As a teacher, I am determined to meet the needs of the children, parents, and theirfamily.I challenge the children with developmentally appropriate programs; based on theskill level in each age group.A teacher’s philosophy, curriculum planning, familyengagement and teaching strategies all play a part in meeting the needs of diverse children.The teaching style I prefer is cooperative learning.Cooperative learning method is thelearning process where children work in small groups and help one another(Canny,K.U.,2011).I believe children learn best by hands-on activities. Children observewhat we do as well, so be a good role model.I often use open-ended questions during mylessons and this helps build the children’s critical thinking and sometimes problem solving.One of the most important and controversial way of learning is through play.My teaching strategies are active and cooperative learning.Active learning is learningwhich engages and challenges children thinking using real-life situations.They learn throughspontaneous play, planned purposeful play, and life experiences.Children learn by doing,interacting, and exploring.Hands-on activities are independent play.Learning is enhancedwhen children become actively involved in the learning process. I enjoy working with children and their families and hope to make an impact on theirlives or be a good influence to them.It has been a pleasure working, playing and helping thechildren with their learning and development processes.It is also a challenge at times, butwith the families and communities collaborating together and we all work together, thechildren have a better opportunity at getting a good education.I am a strong believer that ittakes a village to raise a child.Play is a huge role in a child’s developm…………………..
